Custom Work and consultation
We have a number of glass artists available for possible Custom work.
Custom work starts at 50$ an hour for a base labor rate. When bringing us ideas, the more you can define the better. We are open to suggestions such as '14 inches tall, and blue." But we prefer things such as "14 inches tall, 38mm diameter, and 4mm thick, cobalt blue on the top". When you arrive at the studio, we can help you design something on paper but it's nice to have something to work with. A blueprint, with sizes, colours, and shapes is necessary to make sure our artists fully understand your needs. What the artist is picturing could vary from what you have in mind.
We can also complete some modifications to finished glass, ie adding writing; changing the size of ground seals. This is on a case-by-case basis. Please call and speak to Melanie regarding your specific situation.
